What is Coaching? Understanding How It Can Help You Break Through Barriers

It seems like nobody really understands what coaching is, and I get it—it can feel a little abstract. So, I’m here to give you a simple example of what coaching really does and how it can help you move forward when life feels overwhelming or uncertain.

Imagine you’re in a maze, and the walls are high. You’ve been walking the same path for what feels like forever, but no matter how hard you try, you keep ending up back where you started. Every turn feels like a dead end, and the longer you walk, the more uncertain you become. You know there’s a way out, but you just can’t seem to find it. This is what life can feel like when you're stuck in your comfort zone—safe, yet frustrating, with a constant feeling that something more is just beyond your reach.

Now, imagine having someone by your side as you navigate this maze. Not to give you a map or tell you exactly which way to go, but to help you see the paths you hadn’t noticed before. Coaching is like that. It doesn’t give you the answers, but it guides you to discover them for yourself. As a coach, my job is to help you recognize the patterns that are keeping you stuck, challenge the thoughts that are holding you back, and support you as you take bold steps forward. Slowly, you begin to realize that the walls aren’t as high as they seemed, and with each step, the maze becomes clearer.

I’ve seen this transformation happen with many women, just like you. One client of mine felt trapped in her daily routine, unsure of how to reignite her passion for a career she had long since set aside. Through coaching, she started to explore what was truly important to her and gained the confidence to step outside of her familiar path. Over time, she found herself not only pursuing a new direction in her career but also rediscovering parts of herself she thought she had lost.

If you’re feeling like you’re stuck in your own maze, uncertain of the next step, I’m here to help. Let’s work together to break through those walls and find your way forward. Reach out to me, and let’s take that first step together.

You got this!
